New Mexico knee surgeon, James Lubowitz, M.D., was selected to present his research at the Annual Meeting for Arthroscopy of North America. Dr. Lubowitz and his team completed a study on two different ACL reconstruction techniques: all-inside and full tibial tunnel technique.

The study randomized 150 patients, ages 18 to 64, who were ACL deficient to undergo either ACL reconstruction technique. The study found that there was no significant difference in outcomes for the patients, but did find that patients who underwent the all-inside technique experienced statistically significant less pain than patients who underwent the full tibial tunnel group.
